Everything we make starts from one observation: in an emergency, the people who most need information are usually the last to get it. We’ve spent since 2013 closing that gap.
The gap we exist to close
When something happens in a building, a strange thing is true: the systems calling for help and the people standing in harm’s way are on different sides of an information wall. Help is being summoned. The people who could act — move, lock down, get out — are waiting on sirens to tell them something is wrong.
We call it the gap between an emergency and the people it affects. It’s where seconds are lost, and where outcomes are decided. Closing it — making sure everyone who needs to know, knows, in the same moment — is the entire reason we exist.
What we build
Two platforms, one idea, built around the emergency number people already know to dial:
Share911 — real-time, multi-agency emergency communication in the United States.
Share999 — the same platform for the United Kingdom.
Both connect the people on site, the people responsible for them, and the emergency services — on one shared, real-time picture — so a report reaches everyone who needs it at once, and so the people who respond can reach back into the building to direct and inform.
What we believe
The people inside an emergency deserve to know. That conviction shapes every product decision we make.
Public safety shouldn’t have to pay to be in the loop. There is no cost for public safety agencies to use Share911 or Share999, and there never has been — free for 13 years, and staying that way. The more responders connected, the better the outcome for everyone.
This supports emergency response — it never replaces it. We’re a tool in the hands of the people doing the work, not a substitute for calling 911 or 999.
