SHARE911 VS. WEARABLE PANIC BUTTONS
A school panic button without the badges.
Wearable panic-button systems, such as CENTEGIX CrisisAlert and Raptor Badge Alert, put a badge on every staff member and a wireless network in every building. Share911 does the same job — silent alerts with location, a building-wide lockdown, a call to 911 — from the phones and computers your staff already have, at a published price.

A DISTRICT
$16,440 a year
500 staff across 8 buildings, all connected to 911.
ALREADY HAVE BADGES?
Keep them. Share911 works with them.
If your district already owns hardware panic buttons or duress devices, Share911 brings them into the same alert flow as the app — so a badge press, a phone tap and a classroom computer all start the same response, and everyone gets the same live picture.
QUESTIONS
What districts ask when they compare.
Is a phone fast enough in a lockdown?
Yes. An alert is one tap from the Share911 app or the desktop app on any classroom computer, and it’s silent. Staff don’t need to unlock a badge or remember a press pattern.
What if a teacher doesn’t have their phone on them?
They can raise the alert from any computer in the room, and any colleague’s phone works too. If you already own hardware panic buttons, those can trigger the same alert.
Does it meet Alyssa’s Law?
Share911 provides silent activation, real-time location and, with 911 connectivity, a direct path to your dispatch center. Requirements differ by state, so check yours before treating any product as compliant.
What do we lose without a badge?
A dedicated device that works when a phone isn’t to hand. That’s why Share911 runs on desktops too, and integrates with panic-button hardware if you want both.
