K-12 School Reunification

Reunification, electrified

We took the paper-based Standard Reunification Method and made it digital — so your team can account for every student and release them to the right adult, faster and with far less chaos.

The gap we close

Reunification still runs on paper

Most schools manage reunification with clipboards, runner cards, and manual matching. In the moment that matters most, that approach is slow, hard to track, and easy to get wrong.

Built on the Standard Reunification Method

Our process follows the Standard Reunification Method from the I Love U Guys Foundation — the model your staff already train on. We simply electrified every step, removing the paper without changing what works.

How it works

From activation to reunited

Five connected steps — every one electronic, every one updating your team in real time.

1

Activate your team

Stand up your reunification team in seconds. Members get the alert, the site location, and their role — so a scattered group arrives ready to set up and operate.

2

Check in students

As students arrive at the reunification site, the team checks them in electronically from any phone, tablet, computer, or kiosk — no runner cards to lose.

3

Parents & guardians check in

Arriving parents scan a QR code that opens reunifyme.com and enter the event code. We hand them to Share911 to provide their name, mobile number, relationship, and student. Authorized for more than one? They simply repeat it.

4

Match & verify

Checked-in students and checked-in guardians both appear to the team. The team matches them and verifies the student is cleared to release to that specific person.

5

Reunite

A team member locates the student and brings them to the guardian, who presents identification for a final, confident handoff.

Where the silence used to be

Close the communication gaps

Once people are checked in, two of the hardest communication gaps in reunification simply close.

Team to families

Keep parents informed

Because every guardian provides a mobile number at check-in, the team can message one person — or every checked-in guardian at once — with status and instructions. Fewer questions at the front of the line, fewer rumors in the parking lot.

Team to team

Protect and direct the team

Push instant alerts to the reunification team — including orders to lock down or evacuate the site itself — and send real-time updates to members throughout the operation, so everyone moves on the same information.
